Hubby holds a sales position at dad's office and teaches cello and piano at schools and student's homes. He works 7 days a week. I do feel that he works too hard. For my own whims and expenditures， and maybe a third of all household bills, I earn my own keep. While I would love to be able to be a tai tai at home, I do love the challenges at my workplace. Though I may lament occasionally about stress, I don't think it's possible for a single income family to survive the way we want to. Something has to give, so in the article's case, sadly, the marriage and sanity and health of the hubby seems to be disintegrating. I hope we never come to this. I do consider changing jobs so that I will have time to spend with my kids once they need more guidance after school, but hopefully I can find something i like and be able to pay all the bills and a little more.. well, don't we all wish for that?
