I find that JE always find ways to put herself in danger despite my best efforts to baby-proof the house. Initially my sofa was in the middle of the living room separating the TV area and dining area. She started climbing and sitting high on the top of the sofa. I had to re-align my sofa against the window, and she started holding against the window grilles and even stuck a leg out the grilles once! Despite smacking her legs, scolding, she occasionally still climbs to the top of the sofa and sits up there. GRrrr.. bracing and praying no serious falls to come..
